Victorious Faith

A reflection on Easter and the Armenian Genocide - Rev. Berdj Djambazian

"Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1. And, "without Faith, it is impossible to please God. He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:6.

The secret of our Victorious Faith is deeply rooted in the undeniable reality of Jesus' resurrection. Jesus' resurrection declared victory over three enemies in life: Sin, Satan, and Death.

The perpetrator of the Armenian Genocide, with its corrupted sinful mind and Satanic evil desire, used death to try and annihilate an entire Armenian nation, not realizing that Faith in Christ cannot be turned into ashes.

The Apostle Paul challenges death, saying, "O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? Thanks be to God, who gives us Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Cor 15:55, 57

Let us, as healthy grains of wheat of our Christ-centered forefathers and martyrs, maintain our unity and love to become the torchbearers of Victorious Faith.

Faith is the Dunamis of the present and the future, and we are the living body of Christ. "Faith and prayer both are invisible, but they make impossible things possible."
