Media Technician

Reports To: Program Coordinator/Media Manager
Hours: Part Time (20 hours per week)
Compensation: (TBD, Commensurate with Experience)


  • Keep and inventory of and oversee maintenance of all current equipment, systems, and software belonging to the church

  • Recommend upgrades as needed to enhance the effectiveness of our ministries.

  • Be present for Sunday services, as well as other church programs, activities, and special services (ie. weddings, funerals, holiday services, etc.) to provide oversight and continuity for all technical and audio/visual needs.

  • Identify, train, and mentor a team of lay volunteers to assist in handling the video, tech and A/V needs of the church.

  • Assist the Office Coordinator/Media Manager and pastoral staff with video content needed to further the mission and outreach of the church

  • Identify new avenues and strategies for supporting live events at UACC with tech support

  • Build up live streaming capabilities and develop a plan for expanding viewership of our livestreamed content

  • Possible oversight of an intern.


  • Has training in all or most of the following areas – camera operation, audio recording, basic skills in computer troubleshooting, live A/V production, equipment sourcing and maintenance, etc.

  • Has the ability to articulate a personal, saving faith in Jesus Christ

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

  • Works cooperatively in a team ministry environment
