Minister to the Union

​​Rev. Hendrik Shanazarian, D. Miv., our Minister to the Union (MTTU), is a Christ-driven spiritual leader and Executive Director of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America (AEUNA). Our MTTU is passionate about growing our pastors and ministry leaders to thrive as God-honoring leaders in our community. Overseeing all operations within the AEUNA and encouraging financial support from the churches and community members, his focus is on achieving AEUNA’s vision. He collaborates with AEUNA Board of Directors and Armenian Evangelical partner leaders to develop and sustain God-honoring Armenian Evangelical ministry and outreach. As AEUNA’s public face, our MTTU serves as liaison with other Armenian Evangelical Unions worldwide and global Armenian and Christian communities.

Field Pastor

​Rev. Ron Tovmassian, D. Min., our Field Pastor (FP), oversees the entire pastoral ordination process from recruitment to the ordination and installation of pastoral candidates within Armenian Evangelical Union of North America (AEUNA) churches. He focuses on nurturing and mentoring seminary students and newly ordained pastors to ensure their Christian spiritual maturity and effectiveness in ministry. Partnering with AEUNA church leaders and our Ministry Committee, our FP guarantees best practices and proper policies as outlined in the AEUNA Ministry Manual are followed.

Minister to Youth - Eastern Region

Camp Arevelk Director

​Sylvia Jizmejian serves as AEUNA’s Eastern Region Minister to the Youth (ER MTY) and as Director of Camp Arevelk. She nurtures and mentors AEUNA youth in their faith journey, in the USA Midwest, New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Canadian regions. She works closely with the executive committee for the Armenian Evangelical Youth Fellowship Eastern Region (AEYF ER) to develop, disciple and encourage the next generation of Armenian youth and young adults to walk with Jesus Christ. This includes collaborating with our Union churches to cultivate young Christian leaders and train them for service in local AEUNA churches, ministries, and at Camp Arevelk. She also serves as a key leader in developing and organizing AEUNA youth retreats, conferences, and Camp Arevelk activities and ministries.

Minister to Youth - Western Region

Camp AREV Director

​Rev. Razmig Minassian serves as the Executive Director of AEUNA’s Camp AREV and as AEUNA’s Western Region Minister to the Youth (WR MTY). His primary responsibility is to oversee the camping ministry in its programming, leadership development, local church relations and long term vision and mission. As the WR MTY, he works closely with the Armenian Evangelical Youth Fellowship (AEYF) executive committee to develop, disciple and encourage the next generation of Armenian youth to walk with Jesus Christ. This includes collaborating with our Union churches to cultivate young Christian leaders and train them for service in local AEUNA churches, ministries, and at Camp AREV. He also serves as a key leader in developing and organizing AEUNA youth retreats, conferences.

Office Administrator

​Nora Wilson, AEUNA’s Administrative Operations Manager, is the backbone of the Union’s organization. She oversees the day-to-day operations, which include coordinating correspondences within our Union, managing the office facilities, assisting in AEUNA ministry services, organizing our busy calendar of events, and clerical and bookkeeping duties. With a deep commitment to our Union’s values, Nora ensures that the practical aspects of our ministry are handled with care and efficiency.
