A Visit from Newly Elected AEWC Executive Director Rev. Dr. Krikor Youmshajekian

Rev. Krikor Youmshajekian, the Executive Director of the Armenian Evangelical World Council, visited California for ten days by invitation of the Armenian Cilicia Evangelical Church in Pasadena and its pastor, Joseph Garabedian. During his visit, he preached twice at special worship and revival services at the Cilicia Church, led a roundtable discussion on “The Challenges and Mission of the Armenian Evangelical Church Today,” and shared God’s Word during the Sunday service.

He began his visit by meeting with the heads of the Armenian Churches in Western United States, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Archbishop Kegham Khacherian and Auxiliary Bishop Parsegh Baghdassarian. He also met with the LA area AEUNA pastors. As an alumnus of the Shamlian Tatikian School in Bourj Hammoud, Lebanon, he also attended the school’s alumni gala on March 22. Throughout his stay, he met with AEUNA pastors and lay leaders, as well as with friends and family members.

His visit was a true blessing, and we look forward to welcoming him again to the United States on a future occasion.
